Our brand with its flowers splashed across crisp cottons and linens will have you remembering your favourite summer. That summer holiday you took where you spent the day on a beach, a sunset swim that ended at a dinner table surrounded by your loved ones. As you sat laughing under a Bougainville tree with some pink flowers falling on the table like confetti and a bright summer moon in the sky you promised yourself you would do this each summer.
Summer moon aims to bring that feeling to your homes. The feeling of summer, friends, family, loved ones and the brightest summer moon.
Summer Moon is a home grown label created by Ritika Jolly-Dattani. Each motif has been hand painted and then printed on 100 percent cotton to bring a sense of calm and warmth to you and your space.
About the founder
Ritika Jolly is a self taught artist who combined her love for styling and art to create Summer Moon. A fashion and costume stylist prior to this and a marketing executive in another lifetime, Ritika immersed herself in art dabbling in water colours to survive the lock down. The flowers she painted regularly brought her a sense of calm and from it emerged the idea to create something beautiful.
With Summer Moon I dedicate my brand to my Mother, who instilled in me the love for nature, art and interior decor.
Sustainability
We at Summermoon create our products on a small production basis to reduce inventory and product waste. Certain products are only produced upon order. We try to use our waste to make rubber bands, napkin rings and more, and we plant trees to offset a carbon footprint. We believe in working with only natural, breathable fabrics.
